“Come back to this tomorrow. Notice what is different. That difference - however small - is the life force answering back.”

The transition is the practice

Most yoga classes teach poses. This practice teaches movement - which means the emphasis falls on what happens between poses: how the spine articulates, how weight transfers, how breath and effort coordinate in the space where one shape ends and another begins.

Transitions are where compensation patterns live. They are also where they can be unlearned. A body that moves well through its transitions moves well through everything.

The flow is workshopped, not handed down - broken down, questioned, rebuilt, understood from the inside. By the time the full sequence comes together, it belongs to you.

Spinal mobility…

Flexion, extension, rotation, lateral bend - all planes, tended with precision. The spine is the central channel of how we feel alive.

Intelligent transitions…

The between matters as much as the pose. We slow it down, study it, rebuild it so the flow that emerges is genuinely yours.

Integrated strength…

Bodyweight and, where it serves the practice, weighted movement - woven in to build strength that holds up in real life.

Home practice…

Built to live in your body - without a studio schedule or a commute. Yours to return to every morning, for years to come.

What to expect

Not handed down - built together

Sessions begin with breath and body awareness - not as a warmup formality, but as information. Where are you today? What does the nervous system need? What is the spine asking for?

From there: spinal sequences, targeted mobility, the careful breakdown of transitions, and strength elements woven into the flow. The pace is deliberate. The cues are anatomically specific - informed by 20+ years of teaching bodies that have been active a long time and intend to stay that way.

You will learn to feel the difference between gripping and engaging, between collapsing and releasing, between effort that costs you and effort that builds you. That understanding is what makes a home practice sustainable. That understanding is how the life force stays awake.

Let’s thrive…

Lean into the inspiration that comes from a practice rooted in community and all that entails, comradery, accountability, sharing wins and struggles resulting in real & lasting transformation and yes, even friendships. Together we’ll build an at-home, mat practice that uses simple props—blocks, a strap or long towel, and a cushion or folded blankets—as your “equipment.” In Pilates, large studio pieces exist to give feedback, support, and challenge; in our work, these props serve the same purpose in a more accessible way, so your training stays equipment-free while still precise and deeply supported.

This membership includes:
